M.E.C.R.C. is the leading company providing container repair services in the U.A.E., with depots inside the ports of Jebel Ali and Mina Zayed, close to the container terminals. This gives our clients major savings on transport and other costs when containers require inspection or repair.

Our workshops operate round the clock to avoid repair delays, and we provide container inspections 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

All inspections are carried out by certified inspectors, the Institute of International Container Lessors (I.I.C.L.) Repair and inspection standards meet IICL 5, UNICON and SEACO cargo-worthy requirements, or those specified by the shipping lines.

All repair materials meet industry standards; Corten Steel for body parts, wood treated to meet Australian T.C.T. requirements, and so on.

Our clients include all the major shipping lines, as well as companies in the fields of power generation and oil refineries. We have also supplied reefer parts to the U.S. and Canadian military amongst others.

GM's Message

In 1981 we opened our first repair depot in Port Rashid, followed in 1994 by our Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi workshop, and our Jebel Ali workshop in 2001. Thirty years after opening in port Rashid, we have continued our growth, with a reputation for reliable high-quality repairs and services. We continue to look at various ports nationwide as further sites for our business.
