Middle East Container Repair Company (L.L.C.) was established in 1981 after permission for a container repair facility in Port Rashid, Dubai, was granted by H.H.Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. M.E.C.R.C. is a shareholding company with paid up capital of AED 2,500,000. Since its opening, the Company has grown, building on its skills and facilities, and has established a reputation for reliable and high quality repairs and services. Its committment to excellence can be clearly seen by the fact that it was the first company in the whole of the Middle East to have IICL certified inspectors. In 1994, M.E.C.R.C. opened up its second depot in Mina Zayed and this was closely followed by the opening of a third in Jebel Ali in early 2001.
